What is the purpose for the clear glass panel? Maybe we should also ask the brand of the iridescent glass mosaic. I may be jumping to conclusions here, but if the sheet of glass is supposed to protect the iridescent glass, it is probably a waste of time. The iridescent glass should be no more delicate than the sheet of glass and the clear glass will probably show food splatters more easily. | | | | | | ssr Guest | | Posted: Sun Dec 19, 2004 10:03 pm Post subject: | | | | Thank you for your input. I was wondering if that was a good way to protect grout between the mosaic from grease splatters… but I will take your advice and bypass that idea. thanks ssr | | | | | | khauner Joined: 11 Apr 2004Posts: 30 Location: Vancouver, Canada | | Posted: Mon Dec 20, 2004 7:17 am Post subject: | | | | Hi again. Grout sealers do a good job at protecting the grout from grease. Be sure to wait 28 days to complete the curing process.
